The vision of a direct current factory became reality.

With the original vision of CO2-neutral production, the goal was ambitious. But with the world's first DC factory, Schaltbau showed that visions can be turned into reality. In addition to the DC grid as the basis, all components of the Servus system were also adapted and optimized. Thanks to special capacitor modules
both acceleration and braking energy is temporarily stored and reused. This allows dynamic operation of the entire intralogistics system with minimal energy consumption from which the entire factory benefits a lot.
